Safety study regarding Runway End Safety Areas and Runway Strips (2017)
In autumn 2017 aviare performed safety studies regarding the Runway End Safety Areas (RESA) and Runway strips of Fraport Greece’s 14 regional airports. These studies included i.a. the development of so-called “Mitigative Measures”.
Lighting Study (2017)
In association with the EASA-Compliance checks, aviare performed lighting studies for the 14 Greek regional airports on behalf of Fraport Greece.
EASA Compliance Check of 14 Greek Airports (2016-2017)
On behalf of Fraport Greece, aviare checked the compliance of the entire infrastructural airside area of 14 Greek regional airports with relevant EASA specifications. Among other things, the compliance of aprons, lightings, markings and obstacles were assessed and potential solutions for non-compliances were developed.

EASA- Compliance Check of the Hamburg civil airport (2015-2016)
From August 2015 on, on behalf of the Hamburg airport- Fuhlsbüttel, aviare examined the lighting and the signage on the air-side infrastructure within the scope of the EASA certification.
Expert opinion for the relocation of a helicopter low altitude nightflight corridor on behalf of wpd onshore GmbH & Co. KG (2014)
In October 2014 aviare was contracted by wpd onshore GmbH & Co. KG for the creation of a flight operation expert opinion regarding the planning of wind energy plants. This involved in detail a helicopter low altitude nightflight corridor, which runs along the planed location of a windfarm north of the town Hofgeismar in Hesse. With the initial planning massive conflicts would have occurred concerning the obstacle clearance in this area.
Approval of the civil airport Kassel-Calden under aviation law (2012-2103)
From autumn 2012 until the opening of the civil airport Kassel-Calden on the 4th July 2013, aviare supported the competent aeronautical authority, the Regierungspräsidium Kassel (regional council). The main aspect was the preparation of the approval under aviation law §44 Air Traffic Licensing Act (Luftverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung or LuftVZO).
Approval of the civil airport Frankfurt under aviation law (August 2010-2012)
From August 2010 on, aviare had a supportive role for the aviation authority of the hesse state (HMWVL). The task involved in detail the preparation of the approval under aviation law §44 Air Traffic Licensing Act (Luftverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung or LuftVZO).
Obstacle Analysis Tallinn Airport (November 2010)
In November 2010 aviare did an examination of the obstacle situation at the international airport in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
